Patricia Lim

Entrepreneur, Educator and mum-of-two Patricia Lim shares the importance of educating the young and her secrets on successful work-life balance.

Having trained and taught sales teams and clients over the last decades on financial investment, Patricia Lim is now focusing on educating children on money management. Being the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of two companies, and also a mum of two, it comes naturally to Patricia to design a programme tailored to teach young kids how to save and use thier money wisely. We caught up with her to learn more about her drive and inspirations.

How do you juggle family and work commitments?

“It’s not easy but I’m blessed and very thankful to have my parents-in-law looking after my two kids while I focus on my work. Although my kids are young, I explain to them about my work commitments and make a special effort to spend as much time with them as possible, putting aside all work to give them 100% of my attention.

Do you have any advice for fellow career mums?

“I believe one can be a successful career woman and a mother at the same time. It’s all about focus, discipline and time management. I have a simple philosophy: Don’t bring work home and don’t bring family matters to your work place.”
